The New Zealand Catholic Women’s League is a national organisation of Catholic women.
A faith-based organisation, it gives women the opportunity contribute to the social, intellectual and spiritual life of the Church and the wider society of New Zealand.
The League speaks out on educational and social concerns and has a particular interest in the education of young people.
Belonging to the League gives women and opportunity to share friendship and prayer.
The Mission then of the Catholic Women’s League of New Zealand is:
- to enhance the spiritual and intellectual growth of members
- to participate in the pastoral life of the Church and the wider community
- to support charitable works in New Zealand and the South Pacific
- to be a voice heard in national and international affairs
As a registered charity New Zealand Catholic Womens League supports the missionary work of the Church, focussing on the Pacific region.
