Dioceses

Each diocese is unique and autonomous while working within the national body and is lead by a Diocesan Council which consists of an elected President and Special Officers i.e. Missions, WUCWO and Social Issues.  The President brings her own appointed Secretary and Treasurer, and Regional Representatives complete the Council.

In most dioceses the Council meets once a month but because of distance and cost, some have had to make the decision to come together every two months. Modern technology has made this arrangement workable as most Council members are in touch by email.

An annual Conference and/or A.G.M. is held and each Region holds an annual meeting for the members in their particular region. Regional Days have become a great social occasion for members and in some regions a competition is held each year which is enthusiastically vied for.
