The National Board of the Catholic Women’s League NZ comprises an elected President and three elected Special Officers, namely:-  National Mission Secretary, International Secretary, and National Social Concerns.   Tenure for all elected officials is two years, renewable for a further two years.   The President appoints her Secretary and Treasurer and these appointments are affirmed by the National Conference.   The six Diocesan Presidents complete the National Board.

A National Conference is held biennially and this normally alternates between the two islands of New Zealand, with different diocese taking a turn at hosting.

The National Board meets twice yearly, in February and July, with the biennial Conference occurring in July.
