The National Board of CWLNZ comprises of an elected President and elected Special Officers namely:- Missions, WUCWO, and Social Concerns. The President appoints her Secretary and Treasurer and these appointments are affirmed by the National Conference. The six Diocesan Presidents complete the National Board.

A National Conference is held biennially and this normally alternates between the two Islands of New Zealand with different diocese taking a turn at hosting. The President’s tenure is two years renewable for a further two years and it is the same for the Special Officers.

The National Board meet twice yearly, in February and July with the biennial Conference occurring in the July.
